DMCA & Copyright Notices
The website zvyk.me respects copyright and related rights. We review properly submitted notifications from rights holders in accordance with applicable law, including the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), where they apply to a particular notice.
We assess every situation separately, verify the information provided and strive to resolve disputed matters promptly and in good faith.
How to file a copyright notice
A rights holder or their authorised representative may send a written notice to:
Email for notices:dmca@zvyk.me
So that we can identify the material and review the request without unnecessary delay, the notice should contain:
- a description of the work, or a list of works, that you believe to be infringed;
- the exact address of the page on zvyk.me where the disputed material is located, and sufficient information to find it;
- your full name or the name of your organisation, postal address, phone number and email;
- a statement of good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the rights holder, their agent or the law;
- a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf;
- a physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or their authorised representative.
How we handle a notice
After receiving a notice we:
- register the complaint and check that it contains the required information;
- ask the complainant to clarify information or confirm their authority when necessary;
- may temporarily restrict access to the disputed material while we review it;
- remove the material or terminate access to it if the infringement is confirmed;
- where contact details are available, notify the user affected by the notice.
We usually begin the initial review within 24-48 hours after receiving a complete notice. This period does not guarantee a final decision: complex cases or incomplete materials may take longer.
Counter-notification
If the material was removed or restricted by mistake, the person who posted it may submit a counter-notification to dmca@zvyk.me. It should contain:
- identification of the material and the address where it was available before it was restricted;
- a statement under penalty of perjury of a good faith belief that the material was removed due to an error or misidentification;
- the full name, postal address, phone number and email of the person submitting it;
- consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court and acceptance of the service of process from the original complainant, where the applicable DMCA procedure requires it;
- a physical or electronic signature of the person submitting it.
After receiving a valid counter-notification, we may forward it to the original complainant and act within the timeframes and procedures set by applicable law.
